Restrictions

The Roatan Experience agrees that The Roatan Experience or any of our affiliates will not assist or enable others to:

1. To threaten, stalk, defraud, incite, harass, or advocate the harassment of another person.
2. Submit or transmit spam, chain letters, junk email, pyramid schemes, surveys, or other mass messaging, whether commercial in nature or not.
3. Use the site in a manner that may create a conflict of interest, such as trading reviews with other business owners.
4. Use the site to promote bigotry or discrimination against protected classes.
5. Use the site to violate any third-party right, including any breach of confidence, copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, moral right, privacy right, right of publicity, or any other intellectual property or proprietary right.
6. Use the site to submit or transmit pornography or illegal content.
7. Use the site to solicit personal information from minors or to harm or threaten to cause harm to minors.
8. Use any robot, spider, site search/retrieval application, or another automated device, process or means to access, retrieve, scrape, or index the site or any site Content.
9. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, user accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the site through hacking, password mining or any other means; use the site or any site content to transmit any computer viruses, worms, defects, Trojan horses or other items of a destructive nature (collectively, “Viruses”); use any device, software or routine that interferes with the proper working of the site, or otherwise attempt to interfere with the proper working of the site; make excessive traffic demands; use the site to violate the security of any computer network, crack passwords or security encryption codes; disrupt or interfere with the security of, or otherwise cause harm to, the site or site content; remove, circumvent, disable, damage or otherwise interfere with any security-related features of the site, features that prevent or restrict the use or copying of site content, or features that enforce limitations on the use of the site.

Reservation Policy

1. The Roatan Experience, payment is due in full before the tour starts to one of our tour representatives.
2. The Roatan Experience accepts payment online and cash upon arrival in some cases, If paying in cash upon arrival, some packages might require a deposit.
3. If a customer cancels with more than a 24 hour notice The Roatan Experience will refund in full the deposit paid for the tour.
4. Less than 24 hours no refund will be provided.
5. The Roatan Experience accepts full payment online, Prices and payments are in US Dollars, including credit card transactions. The Roatan Experience is not responsible for any billing discrepancies as a result exchange rates or foreign exchange transaction fees.
6. Upon meeting The Roatan Experience representative for your excursion, booking party is to provide a printed copy or digital copy of the voucher/ticket(s). Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your excursion/tour and no refund. Furthermore, any additional participants/passengers not accounted for in the booking reservation will not be guaranteed service. The Roatan Experience reserves the right to reject non-disclosed participants/passengers based on availability, capacity, and overall customer experience.
7. We, here at The Roatan Experiences are really looking forward to having you come on the tour you signed up for, but we understand that sometimes plans change. You must be aware that there are logistical implications to canceling a trip as transportation, guides, refreshments, and most other elements are coordinated ahead of time. As a result, we operate under the following guidelines and policies.
8. If a customer cancels with more than a 24-hour notice The Roatan Experience will refund in full the amount paid for the tour.
9. 12 – 24 hours notice The Roatan Experience will refund 50% of the amount paid for the tour.
10. Less than 12 hours no refund will be provided.
11. If your Cruise ship fails to dock or tender in Roatan on / before / after scheduled arrival date, The Roatan Experience will provide a full refund.
12. If we cancel your trip due to poor weather or unsafe conditions we will refund in full the amount paid for the tour.
13. If a partial group cancellation is requested, please call or email The Roatan Experience to confirm the revised number of bookings required at least 20 hours prior to departure date, otherwise, above policies will apply. If The Roatan Experience is not informed of a decrease in numbers the total payment will stand based on original booking details, regardless of the number of participants who arrive.

Other Services

Transportation Services

1. Whenever The Roatan Experience offers services such as transportation services, air transport babysitter or guides, The Roatan Experience acts only as booking agents in regard to that particular part of a trip and can assume no liability for any actions or defaults of any individual organization with whom your arrangements have been made with.

Photography

1. The Roatan Experience reserves the right to take photographic records during tours and activities for promotional purposes, and travelers grant The Roatan Experience express permission to use their images for such purposes.

Events Beyond our Control

The Roatan Experience is not responsible for the effect brought on by events beyond our control on the ability of participants to attend bookings, cancel bookings, or for tours to be conducted. These include events such as acts of God, war, terrorism, crime, civil unrest, illness, public unrest or natural disasters and other unforeseen circumstances.
